Honrable mentions:

Bukayo Saka

The kid who took Arsenal on his shoulders last season (and should’ve won PFA Young Player of the Year) is back again this season after a relatively slow start. He now has goals and assists to his name and is affecting the outcomes of games in a positive way for the Gunners. He is surely enjoying the moment and enjoying his spot at the top of the Premier League.

Miguel Almiron

Almiron appears to have taken a comment from Jack Grealish late last season personally, cause he is playing out of his socks this season. With 7 goals to his name already this season, his end product has drastically improved and Newcastle is reaping the benefits of the former MLS Newcomer of the Year and his form.

Jordan Pickford

Yes, that is an Everton player in this honorable mention section. Despite the fact that Everton has looked dreadful at times, their defense has been largely overlooked, and with 5 clean sheets and some incredible performances, Pickford is a big part of why Everton has been difficult to break through for numerous teams. It’s worth noting that his save percentage, just shy of 80%, is second only to Kepa who has played 600 fewer minutes.
