CM – Kevin De Bruyne

Season after season, Kevin De Bruyne continues to impress, and at times looks as if he’s getting better! With a true striker ahead of him this season, it’s no wonder he has racked up 9 assists already, as well as added a few goals. The ability to be a bit more direct in his play going forward has suited him well so far this year. The Belgian makes this game look so easy, and the impossible seems possible when he is on the pitch.

CM – Martin Ødegaard

After loan spells at Arsenal, the decision to make his move to North London permanent seems to be a good one. He has been the dynamic, creative midfielder that Arsenal has been searching for since the departure of Ozil, and looks quite comfortable in this Arsenal side. He provides assists, scores goals, and has been a key member of the side that is (surprisingly) sitting atop the Premier League.

CM – Leandro Trossard

Trossard might be the surprise package of the season so far. When he was brought in from Belgium in 2019, he arrived with expectations that he just now seems to be fulfilling. There have been glimpses of his potential, but now with seven goals and one assist, he’s playing a key part in an exciting Brighton side, which has allowed him to make his way into this team.
