A rundown of the best shot-stoppers and point-scorers in FPL this season.

When it comes to goalkeepers, many FPL managers often overlook this position. It is usually a case of building a team first, and then using the loose change left in the bank to fill the two goalkeeper positions.

As we head into gameweek 15, it is the perfect time to analyse the goalkeeper position and evaluate whether a thought process is important when filling the sticks.

Personally, I have had Meslier of Leeds in my starting eleven since the start of the season and he has served me well. But after looking at the statistics in the first quarter of the season, I think it is time for an improvement in this position.

Without further ado, here are the five highest performing goalkeepers so far this season…

5. David Raya – BRE (£4.6m)

Kicking off the list is Brentford’s shot-stopper David Raya. He is only owned by 8.3% of managers currently but he has put in some incredible displays, as have Brentford as a collective.

Clean sheets against Manchester United and Chelsea already this season put Raya on a great pedestal and plenty of reason to get him in your team. He is in good form too, picking up 25 FPL points in the last five gameweeks.
