ST: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

From a neutral perspective, the Gabon international is struggling to hit a good run of form in Chelsea colours. However, it is in games like this where he could pick up a goal or multiple to start a good run of form.

Aubameyang’s pace is frightening and while he may be losing a yard or two with age, the forward makes up for it with his work off the ball. Auba will play in this match and he will be keen to get a goal contribution.

ST: Raheem Sterling

Sterling has had his critics throughout his career so far but one thing you do certainly get with the England international is consistency. Chelsea have reaped all the rewards of bringing him to the club in the summer as he has four goals and two assists across all competitions.

He is more accustomed to drifting out wide, which I would not discount him for doing in this fluid system under Graham Potter. However, he does like to cut inside and is excellent in one-on-one situations.

Final thoughts and score prediction

Overall, it will be a strong lineup for Chelsea. I think it has to be.

The Blues will have an easier time than they did against Manchester United. I’m going to predict a 2-0 win for Potter’s men.
