David de Gea has been a loyal servant of Manchester United for more than a decade now. In 11 years at the club, De Gea has won the Premier League, Europa League, FA Cup, and Carabao Cup, as well as three Community Shields.
The 32-year-old is also currently third in the all-time rankings for Manchester United with 165 clean sheets, just behind Alex Stepney (175 clean sheets) and Peter Schmeichel (180 clean sheets).
Despite having a horror start to the season conceding 6 goals to Brighton and Brentford, the former Spanish international has since kept 3 clean sheets in 7 games, being one of three United players to start all the games for Erik ten Hag.
However, with his contract set to expire towards the end of the season, the Red Devils might have to look at long-term alternatives to replace the last piece of Sir Alex Ferguson’s Premier League title-winning side.
