The 2022/23 Premier League transfer window reached its conclusion. It has been one for the history books, with Premier League clubs spending a record-breaking £1.9 billion on player transfers.

That being said, let’s review every top-flight club’s summer transfer window and see how they’ve faired.

Arsenal (9/10)

The Gunners have had one of the best transfer windows in the league this time around. Arsenal have spent nearly £120million on players this summer. Fans believe the squad should be challenging for silverware with this Mikel Arteta’s second full season in charge.

Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko have looked like great pickups, especially given the price inflation we have since seen elsewhere. Both have played their part in an almost perfect start to the season under Mikel Arteta.

Fabio Vieira from Porto has also been another smart signing, which could help to boost the depth in midfield.

There has also been some success in offloading fringe players, with Arsenal even receiving fees for some of them. Matteo Guendouzi, Lucas Torreira, Bernd Leno, and Alexander Lacazette all left the club.
