Two Premier League Coaches Are Without a Job

It did not take very long to see the first Premier League manager get the boot. Bournemouth only waited for four rounds to get rid of Scott Parker off the back of a 9-0 thumping by Liverpool.

The former Fulham midfielder bemoaned the lack of signings in the summer transfer window, which did not sit well with the higher-ups. No name has officially replaced Parker yet, with one likely to come in the near future.

Parker is not the only one to have lost his head coaching role at a Premier League side. Thomas Tuchel had the same fate last Wednesday. The German’s tenure at Stamford Bridge came to an end following Chelsea’s humiliating 1-0 defeat in the Champions League to Dinamo Zagreb.

It was reported that several falling-outs between Tuchel and owner Todd Boehly occurred, ultimately being the deciding factor causing the former’s demise.

It only took Chelsea a day to find their replacement for Tuchel, with Graham Potter being plucked from Brighton and Hove Albion. The 47-year-old former left-back is said to have impressed Boehly while Chelsea was in talks to sign former Seagull Marc Cucurella.
