It’s Gameweek 7 of Fantasy Premier League football and it’s time to pick out team of the week to try and score as many points as possible and work our way up our respective league table standings.

We’ve had a tumultuous week of news with Thomas Tuchel’s shock sacking and the imminent announcement of Brighton’s Graham Potter as Chelsea manager plus Liverpool being battered by Napoli midweek.

Combined with European games on both sides of this weekend’s fixtures, we’ve had to take subjective factors like expected minutes and managerial changes into account when picking our FPL team of the week for GW7!

Goalkeeper
Robert Sanchez (4.7, Brighton)

The Spaniard is our pick for goalkeeper. Despite the fact that there will be some knock-on effect from all the distraction of Graham Potter considering the Chelsea job, we still think Brighton are suitable for a clean sheet against Bournemouth, who struggles to create enough offensively.

Even though they scored 3 last week, it was a good tactical change with some clinical finishing and defensive errors that played a part. We’re expecting Sanchez to do well this week.
