It’s been a busy Deadline Day as expected and playing a major part in the busy day is Fulham, who have now completed a double deal for PSG’s Layvin Kurzawa and former Arsenal and Chelsea winger, Willian.

Willian couldn’t stay away from the Premier League for too long and returns in London as he rejoins the league, only this time it will be in West London with Fulham. On the day he joins the club on a free transfer, Layvin Kurzawa also completes his move from Paris.

The winger will join on a year contract while the 29-year-old left-back will be at Craven Cottage on a season-long loan. With them, the Cottagers have signed: Joao Palhinha, Kristian Sekularac, Callum McFarlane, Andreas Pereira, Manor Solomon, Kevin Mbabu, Bernd Leno, Shane Duffy, and Issa Diop, making it 11 new names at Craven Cottage this season.

This plus the amazing start to life back in the Premier League and the excitement in West London is on an endless supply at the moment.

At the time of writing this, they lie in eighth place in the EPL standings and have only lost one game of the six played. Included in these games were draws against Liverpool and Wolves and a big victory over Brighton, who have also been on a great run in the early parts of the campaign.

Leeds Last Potential Arrival: Daniel James

A late push for Dan James appears to have been a successful one. The player has just passed his medical with the London club and will join on a season-long loan once completed. They have beaten Tottenham and others to the signing of James.

However, Leeds are working on their replacement transfer and are looking at Marseille’s Bamba Dieng before giving the green light for the deal. They are looking to make it a triple transfer on Deadline Day.

Fulham Have Added Quality to Every Area on the Pitch

Under Marco Silva, it has been a lot more optimistic and Premier League survival seems more than just a promise already this early on in the season. From the 15 points available, they’ve collected eight and only lost against the most in-form side on a 100% win record.

Up next will be two tough tests as they play two of the usual top six, which are back-to-back London derbies against Tottenham and Chelsea, respectively. Then they travel to the City Ground for a clash against Nottingham Forest.

It will be tough to collect all the points in each match, but it is never impossible. With the work done and if they can keep the firing Aleksander Mitrovic fit, they should be getting points from their next three fixtures.

It’s even safe to say that Fulham have been the best newly-promoted side in England’s top flight this term.
