Defenders
Trent Alexander-Arnold (7.5, Liverpool)

He is on the back of a phenomenal 17-pointer against Bournemouth. Goal and assist threat aplenty for a defender, it’s enough to justify him at that price despite Liverpool’s shaky defense.

Joao Cancelo (7.1, Manchester City)

He has been playing as an inverted winger and filling in as a midfielder in central positions, rather than being the attacking winger we saw for large spells of last season. His diminished attacking threat is reflected in his stats but still, with Nottingham Forest at home, Cancelo comes in purely for his guarantee to start and bonus points potential.

Ivan Perisic (5.5, Spurs)

The Croatian is a risky pick on the back of a start on Sunday but having won a penalty, which Harry Kane failed to convert, we feel like his attacking upside as a defender in a Spurs team looking solid at the back is way too good to pass up.

Gabriel (5.0, Arsenal)

He might seem like an outcome-based pick from his goal last week but we have good reason to back him this game too. Villa have struggled all season and were drab against West Ham at the weekend in a game where they failed to score.

Furthermore, if Mings remains out, they’re vulnerable to set-pieces and Gabriel is a clear threat from setpieces for Arsenal. He does well on his pass volume and completion, which even serves him well in terms of bonus point potential.
