Christian Pulisic, who has been left frustrated at a lack of playing time at Chelsea, has interest from clubs in Spain, Italy, and the Premier League.

The Daily Mail has reported that:

"Newcastle United face competition from Atletico Madrid in their efforts to sign Christian Pulisic from Chelsea.AC Milan and Juventus are also keen on the USA international who has struggled to establish himself under Thomas Tuchel at Stamford Bridge.Chelsea are willing to listen to loan offers and are aware of interest from Newcastle, with whom they enjoy a close relationshipHowever, the prospect of playing Champions League football and sampling life in a different country will also appeal to Pulisic, who joined Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund for £57.6million in 2019.The 23-year-old has spoken about his frustration at the lack of starts he has received under Tuchel and has been played in a number of positions. He has been eager to get a run of games so that he can enjoy his football again and hit form ahead of the World Cup."

Would a move to Newcastle be the right one for Pulisic?

Newcastle are a club with big ambitions and if Pulisic arrives at St James’ Park, he would be the star man. Alongside Kieran Trippier he would also be one of their first marquee signings. However, the Magpies do not offer European football at the moment, which could be a stumbling block.

He would be able to stay in the Premier League though and would get the game time he desperately wants and needs, after a stop-start Chelsea career.

What about Atletico Madrid?

A move to Spain would be an attractive one, especially as he has already played in Germany and England. Playing under a manager such as Diego Simeone would also be tempting for him.

They can offer Champions League football and are title contenders who finished third last season only behind Real Madrid and Barcelona.

How about a move to Italy?

AC Milan and Juventus are also keen on the American and playing in a different county would be a lure to Pulisic.

He does however want more game time and especially at a club like Juventus he would have tough competition for places with them already having the likes of Angel Di Maria, Moise Kean, Juan Cuadrado and Filip Kostic as their attacking midfield and winger options.

But they do of course offer Champions League football and a chance to play for the Serie A title and he would be reunited with his USA teammate Weston Mckennie.

AC Milan is also an attractive option, given they are the current Italian champions. He would be able to play alongside a great in Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

He could follow in the footsteps of former Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori, who also struggled for game time at Stamford Bridge and has enjoyed a resurgence since moving to Milan.

Should he just stay at Chelsea?

Game time is what Pulisic needs and he will look at a player like Tomori and think he can replicate this if he also makes the move to another club.

The other option for the player is to stay at Chelsea and try and force his way into Tuchel’s starting lineup. He has appeared off the bench in their first two games in the Premier League so needs to take these opportunities to impress.
