We’ve gone with Alisson in goal for our FPL team of the week. The Brazilian shot-stopper was the highest-scoring goalkeeper last season and also bagged the most bonus points for his position. He comes up against a Crystal Palace side who’ve had a disrupted pre-season and are showing signs of not being up to full fitness quite, yet.

Liverpool have the second highest odds of a clean sheet this weekend. Alisson’s potential to grab saves and do well on bonus points boosts his appeal against decent opposition like Crystal Palace, where we’re still backing his chances of coming away with a clean sheet.
