5 Potential Bargain Buys To Look Out For This Summer Transfer Window

#5 – Memphis Depay (FC Barcelona) One of the Biggest Transfer Targets on This List
The Dutch international has endured ups and downs throughout his career. From being the main man helping PSV win their first title in 7 years to being labeled a massive flop at Manchester United after his transfer from Holland to England. However, if his spell at Lyon is anything to go by, Depay certainly has the ability to be a top player.
He is an intelligent player who knows how to get the best out of the players around him and would usually roam along the wings to get more space to create chances.
His superb vision with the ball and technical ability also adds to his chance creation. This is demonstrated by the fact that he has created 45 chances in the La Liga for the Catalan giants last season.
Depay has the technical skill and craft to efficiently get out of tight spaces. In the 21/22 season, Depay registered 13 goals and provided 2 assists whilst making 38 appearances.
He has enjoyed a 75% pass completion rate across all competitions this season whilst also completing 1.76 dribbles per game. Despite being committed to staying with the La Liga giants this summer, Barcelona manager Xavi does not fancy the 28-year-old and would be willing to entertain offers for the player.
According to recent reports, the Dutch international is available for as low as €25 million. For a fee as low as that, Depay would certainly be a smart purchase for clubs looking to bring in an experienced player.
