According to recent reports, Tottenham Hotspurs have completed the signing of Everton’s Brazilian forward Richarlison, as he is set to undergo a medical with the club.

This would be Tottenham’s fourth signing of the transfer window after already singing Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster, and Yves Bissouma.

According to The Athletic:

"Richarlison is scheduled to undergo a medical today after Tottenham Hotspur reached an agreement in principle with Everton over his signing.via theathletic.com"

The fee that Tottenham signed the Brazilian for is said to be around £50 million with added bonus that could take the total to £60m.

"Subject to those conversations, Tottenham are expected to pay a figure in the region of £50 million for Richarlison. The north London side could pay an extra £10 million in add-ons to bring the total fee to around £60 million.Personal terms are believed to be in place.via theathletic.com"

Tottenham are not done in the transfer market

Tottenham have been looking to sign another attacker this season and have been linked with several players. The list includes Lautaro Martinez and Yannick Carrasco.

Hotspurs have also been linked with a move for ex-Tottenham man Christian Eriksen. However, they will have to fight Manchester United and West Ham for the signature of the Danish midfielder.

Richarlison has been with Everton since 2018 but is now looking to test himself in continental football with the North London club.

Richarlison gets his wish of Champions League football

With Antonio Conte’s side finishing in fourth place and making a return to Champions League, it is the correct time for the Brazilian to test himself on the biggest stage in European club football.

The Brazilian international has scored 53 goals for Everton in the 153 games he has played for them and scored 10 of them last season to help the Toffies avoid relegation.

A tweet from David Ornstein does suggest that the deal is not 100% done yet and that the two clubs will be in contact again today to hammer out the details of the deal.

David Ornstein in his tweet said:

Tottenham are also very close to closing a deal on Barcelona’s French defender Clement Lenglet as Daniel Levy looks to give Antonio Conte all the players he needs in order to win silverware in the coming season.

Richarlison will give attacking Depth to Antonio Conte and would allow him to rotate Heung-min Son and Harry Kane. He can feature both as a striker and as a winger.

On the other hand, Steven Bergwijn and Harry Winks are linked with Everton and we could see them moving to the Toffees in the transfer window.

The £60 million that Lampard gets for Richarlison could certainly help him and the club sign these players.
