Moment 2: The Sadio Mane Goal That Made Sure of Champions League Glory

The goal against Bayern Munich is arguably one of his best and most important goals in his Liverpool career, if not, his entire football career; and he has scored some vital goals in his Merseyside days.

Strangely enough, this is exactly why Bayern Munich have had their eyes on him for so long. His attributes would improve any frontline and that is why they made sure they were getting their marquee signing this summer.

It was one of the many goals scored on route to the Champions League gold medal but it was the one that displayed all of his world-class attributes: his timely run, his exquisite first touch and dummy to take both Manuel Neuer and the defender out of the game.

His finish was simply breathtaking. This goal would put them on course for their first Champions League trophy and their second final in as many years while playing under Jurgen Klopp.

It was another moment that displayed the superb qualities of Senegal’s top goalscorer.
