USA star Christian Pulisic could swap London for Milan

Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic is attracting attention as the American international becomes frustrated with a lack of playing time.
The future of Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic has been cast into doubt after reports surface of a potential move away from the club he joined in 2019 from Borussia Dortmund.
Amongst a contingent of forwards at Thomas Tuchel’s disposal that disappointed in 2021/22, Pulisic has failed to substantiate the anticipation surrounding his arrival, seeing his playing time limited as a result.
Aside from Mason Mount and potentially Kai Havertz, no player has been able to offer a consistent output under the German manager who has failed to find the ideal combination for the attacking treble in his 3-4-3 formation.
Pulisic started just 13 matches in the Premier League last season, contributing an – on paper – respectable return of 6 goals and 2 assists.

Amid their drawn out ownership saga, it was thought a mass exodus could be required at Chelsea this summer, but following Todd Boehly’s imminent takeover the necessity for such might decrease.
Pulisic was previously named among a list including Timo Werner, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Hakim Ziyech which could be moved on to raise funds and aid Chelsea’s freedom to recruit.
International duty a different story for Christian Pulisic
The American’s international form hasn’t faltered, however, supplying the assist for Leeds United-bound Brenden Aaronson after sublime control and dribbling against Morocco on Thursday.
Pulisic appears to rise to the added responsibility afforded to him for the national team, begging the question of whether a similar approach from his manager at club-level would pay dividends.
Addressing the media while away with the national team, the topic of his floundering club career inevitably came up.
"“Of course, I want to get more playing time. I want to be on the field as much as I can and be the sharpest I can be and fit as well,” he stated.“I think I still got a lot of games, but it is always something that I am working at and trying to be regular at club level as well to put myself in the best position to be fit when I come here with the national team.”Via: Daily Post"
Tuchel’s front three tends to feature a balance of creativity, pace and a centre piece up front for the wide players to play off and around.
Havertz suits the latter role and Mount the former with Pulisic seemingly a worthy candidate to offer the remaining attribute.
In my opinion, there are players in Chelsea’s squad which should be shown the exit door ahead of Pulisic. Despite feeling as though he has been around forever, he is still young and could yet develop into the player he was expected to upon arrival.
