Tottenham’s plan for next season

Going forward into next season, knowing that they will be back in the Champions League, Spurs will need to assure that they have the pieces to compete in Europe’s elite competition.

They have a great goalkeeper in Lloris, and two of the world’s best attackers in Son and Kane, but will need to add personnel to ensure that their team as a whole is not overly reliant on Kane and Son.

To do so, Spurs will likely need to sign some bigger names, particularly in the midfield, to assure a better team for next season.

In recent days they have gone some way to achieve this, securing the signing of versatile Inter Milan wide-player Ivan Perišić. Well-known to Antonio Conte, the acquisition bodes well for hopes that the manager will remain beyond this campaign.
