Summer Plans: Leeds have already seemingly sealed their first signing of the summer, with RB Salzburg midfielder Brenden Aaronson, earmarked to join the club for around £24m.

If to join, he would bring a high work rate and pressing ability valued by Marsch. In the likely event Raphinha departs, the club will also be in the market for a winger such as PSV’s Noni Madueke.

Furthermore, a Leeds squad with little depth will need to add bodies this summer, especially at fullback and centre-back. Philadelphia Union left back Kai Wagner is a possibility, as he could likely be had for around 3 million pounds.

Leeds certainly took a step back this season. With Raphinha almost certainly gone, the moves made this summer will likely determine whether Leeds return to the top half of the table or their continued slide.
