Wolves End of Season Awards
Player of the Season: Ruben Neves

Despite this not being his best season statistically, Ruben Neves has undoubtedly been the club’s Player of the Season. He has been the main source of creativity in this lackluster Wolves side. However, a move to a club with a proper project and ambition is on the cards for the Portuguese playmaker.

Flop of the Season: Fabio Silva

This season has been nothing short of an embarrassment for the young Portuguese forward. He has not managed to register a single Premier League goal this season despite being the club’s marquee signing at the time. Having arrived for a hefty fee, fans will wonder if he’s good enough to be starting games next season.

Most Improved Player: Max Kilman

The 24-year-old has become a key player for Bruno Lage after starting nearly 30 games this term. However, frequent injuries have become a cause of concern, especially for a player with huge potential to be a future England international.

Unsung Hero: Connor Coady

The 29-year-old English international is now going into his 8th season with the club and has held his position as a starter. Not talked about in the same way as Ruben Neves, Coady has been pivotal in orchestrating the defense.

The Signing of the Season: Jose SA

Arriving as a replacement to Rui Patricio, the 29-year-old has been nothing short of a revelation. Being regarded as the Premier League Signing of the Season, Jose Sa is now challenging Rui Patricio for the national team spot as well. It will be interesting to see how he fairs next season under Bruno Lage.

Team Rating: 6.5/10

This season has shown that Wolverhampton Wanderers are definitely on the right track and a good summer could prove pivotal for the club to challenge for European spots.
