Next season

Christensen, Azpilicueta, and Rudiger are all expected to leave this summer meaning yet again, there’s a rebuild on their hands.

The club has a decision to make with the misfiring Lukaku while they still have one too many attacking options at the club. Jorginho enters the final year of his contract and could be looked to move on with the impressive but differently-skilled Connor Gallagher returning from his loan spell at Crystal Palace.

Armando Broja is garnering interest across Europe and Tuchel will want to have a look at him, Levi Colwill, and Gallagher before dipping into the transfer market. Still, a resolution for their goal-scoring dilemma and adequate cover at wing-backs is vitally important to their season.

Losing 3 of their 4 best center-back options means the West London club will undoubtedly look to sign at least 2 quality center-backs likely including Jules Kounde, and it would surprise me if young Levi Colwill isn’t retained with the first-team squad.

New ownership and a change of guard with as many as 5 outgoings and 5 incomings. An interesting summer is ahead for Chelsea Football Club!
