Mason Mount:

Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount has quietly gone about his business this season with the club’s off-field controversy clouding much of their work on it.

Disappointment both domestically and in European competition hasn’t helped either. Thomas Tuchel’s side fell behind in the title race and lost the Carabao Cup final on penalties before an agonising Quarter-Final exit to Real Madrid in the Champions League.

The Blues will be hoping to provide their campaign with a silver lining as they prepare to face Chelsea in the FA Cup final on Saturday.

On a personal note, however, Mount has enjoyed his best campaign to date. The England international became only the fifth Chelsea player to reach 10+ goals and assists in a single Premier League season, joining illustrious company in Frank Lampard, Didier Drogba, Juan Mata and Eden Hazard.
