Manchester City are ready to push the button, and go all in on Norwegian and Borussia Dortmund superstar, Erling Haaland, and bring him to the Premier League.

Reports say the Manchester club are the current frontrunner’s for the striker, and are pushing to complete a deal as soon as possible.

City boss Pep Guardiola has previously admitted the club need a striker, but refused to talk about his rumoured number one transfer target, in his press conference today.

"“I have no answer to your question,” he said on Tuesday. “I have no concern about what will happen in this club next season.“We are playing with good strikers and for many years I never talk about transfers, especially when we are playing for this season.” (via BBC Sport)"

Haaland, currently plying his trade in Germany, with Borussia Dortmund, has a release clause of 75 million Euros, and has attracted the interest of the majority of top clubs in Europe, after scoring 58 goals in 63 appearance’s in his time in the Bundesliga.

The 21-year-old’s top suitors appear to be City and Real Madrid, but Madrid seem have to turned their full attention to Paris Saint Germain star, Kylian Mbappe.

Despite having what seems a relatively low release clause in today’s market, Haaland works with agent Mino Raola, who is known for demanding hefty fee’s when transferring his clients from club to club, this could one of City’s bigger stumbling blocks in this deal.

There is no current deal in place for the Norwegian as of yet, but it looks like the Manchester club will be going all out to secure his services before next season.
