Assessing Robert Lewandowski’s Premier League options

The Red Devils often fall victim to their notoriety regarding the propensity of their name being linked to potential signings, with this one no different.
Sky Sports Germany reported last week that the North-West club had been monitoring the situation as it unfolds between Lewandowski and his current club.
Following their exit from the Champions League at the hands of Atlético Madrid on Tuesday and their dwindling hopes of finishing in the top-four, a potential transfer may be off the cards.
United certainly offer the pedigree demanded by a player such as Lewandowski, along with the spending power to tempt him, but a question of the scope of his motivation arises.
With Edinson Cavani and Cristiano Ronaldo potentially nearing the exit door and barring recent events, the possibility of the Reds’ exploring the option could’ve been likely.
Status: Almost impossible with no Champions League football.
