Assessing Robert Lewandowski’s Premier League options

A left-field option, but at face-value, a move to North London could suit all parties.
With the Gunners closing in on Champions League qualification and Mikel Arteta in desperate need of a striker in the summer, why not?
To answer that question, perhaps pedigree would be an issue for the player, in conjunction with Arsenal likely needing to disregard their wage structure to license such a deal.
From a footballing romantic’s perspective, the Emirates could be the perfect landing area for Lewandowski.
A team on the rise and in need of experience to help navigate their steep incline, with many current players set to experience their first taste of European football.
In layman’s terms, it could happen. Although considering Lewandowski is entering the latter stages of his career, the likelihood of him joining a relatively unknown entity is not so.
Status: Would be one of the great surprises in transfer history, but who are we to dampen Arsenal fans’ spirits.
