Watford bowed down to Norwich City in their direct 17th verses 18th relegation battle; three goals and no reply for the Hornets, as well as an irritating red card for Emmanuel Dennis who is owned by 41.8% managers in FPL.

It was yet another missed opportunity for Claudio Ranieri and Watford to open up the gap on the bottom three, losing all the points on home soil against the Canaries.

A marvellous brace by Josh Sargent and an own goal by Juraj Kucka in the final minutes made sure Norwich City leapfrogged Watford, taking themselves out of the relegation zone.

However, despite a worldly of an opening goal from Sargent, the real talking point for all or most FPL managers was the red card for Emmanuel Dennis — you are either one of the 41.8% who owns him or the regretful lot who captained him — either of which is quite disappointing.

FPL managers react to Emmanuel Dennis’ red

This poor guy was one of the unfortunate ones who captained Dennis this weekend — making his FPL pick sting even more — he tripple captained the Watford striker (Cry if you have to, we feel your pain).

The next tweet makes more sense than it actually should. Is this Karma in football at its best?

A winner in his own right. Please explain? We all waiting cause I think most or all captained the Nigerian and need some material for when asked the same question!

And obviously, Gary Lineker gets it! Lineker can always be relied on for banging tweets and is the man who gets us fans the most.

Some FPL managers knew there was something bad brewing

Owned by just under 50%, ironically enough, Dennis was the most transferred out player this weekend with 34253 predicting a sad show from a player who has been involved in 13 of Watford’s 23 Premier League goals this term.

With this being said, quite a rough start for FPL managers who have Dennis and captained or vice-captained him, and those who have more than one Hornet for their double fixture week — from us here at The Top Flight, sorry for your loss.

It is okay to cry!
