The first striker target for Newcastle: Anthony Martial, Manchester United

Anthony Martial has been an outcast at Manchester United this season. Since Ralf Rangnick arrived at the club, Martial has not featured at all and reportedly wants out in January.

The former Golden Boy winner has been inconsistent at times but has shown his ability in multiple moments in the Premier League. Martial has scored 56 goals in the Premier League over 7 seasons.

However, a loan move for Martial could be costly; Sevilla have already had a loan move rejected, and reports suggest that it will require a hefty loan fee to pry the Frenchman away from Old Trafford.

Martial has also lacked playing time recently, meaning he may need an adjustment period. For a club that needs someone to bag goals immediately upon arrival, that is a risk.

However, the Toons may see the upside of bringing in a Premier League-proven striker to keep them above the relegation zone. They could be the right fit for the striker, and a change of scenery could get Martial back to his best form.
