Brenden Aaronson, RB Salzburg midfielder

Brenden Aaronson arrived at RB Salzburg in January 2021 after a successful stint with Philadelphia Union in MLS. Since that move, Aaronson has been a star for the Austrian side.

Aaronson has 10 goals and 12 assists in all competitions for Salzburg and has helped them to advance to the Champions League knockout rounds. However, the club may be looking to sell the young American before their meeting with Bayern Munich.

Aaronson would instantly provide an offensive spark for Leeds. Aaronson has a high work rate and would fit right into Bielsa’s intense pressing system. As an attacking-minded midfielder, he would be able to create scoring chances for a club that has performed poorly in the final third.

The 21-year old is ready to join a top-five league, and Leeds would be a possible destination for the young American to continue to develop.
