After a magical return to the Premier League in 2020-21, Leeds have been met with an injury crisis this season, surprisingly suffering from second season syndrome.

Patrick Bamford. Kalvin Phillips. Daniel James. Rodrigo. All of these players and more have missed time due to injury, and the results have matched the crisis, with Leeds sitting in 16th place on Christmas.

The chaos surrounding the club has caused Marcelo Bielsa’s status as a manager to come into question, and a recent 7-0 loss to Manchester City certainly did not help his cause.
