The ‘template’ on Fantasy Premier League (FPL) is a set of those players performing well such that a vast majority of active players own them, thus making points gained from them a little bit less valuable in terms of making ground on other players — as everyone is really benefiting from those points.

With Alexander-Arnold, Cancelo, James and Chilwell doing so well plus Salah and Jota having remarkable seasons, the template was strong and betting against it would have proven to the detriment of Fantasy Premier League managers.

However, over the past few weeks, Chilwell has suffered an unfortunate injury, Chelsea have been shipping goals, highly owned Ivan Toney is suffering from COVID and Raphinha’s fixtures take a turn for the worse now.

This leads to difficulties for our teams but an opportunity to Break the Template and transfer in relatively low-owned assets with the potential to do well over the upcoming weeks, hence providing the opportunity to now make ground on teams up ahead.

The Overall Template for Fantasy Premier League GW15 as per LiveFPL is:

  • Sanchez, Foster;
  • Alexander-Arnold, Cancelo Dias, James Livramento;
  • Salah, Jota, Raphinha, Gallagher, Smithe-Rowe;
  • Ronaldo, Vardy, Antonio

Additional players who make the top 10k template are: Ramsdale, Alonso, Toney, Kane.

Here are 5 player suggestions not in the overall or Top 10k template that are worth considering for a transfer in to your Fantasy Premier League teams this week!

The list I had originally considered had Tottenham players but due to their next game against Brighton very likely to be canceled and Leicester’s game to follow under threat of the same, I’ve omitted them from my list.

Here it goes!
