Conor Gallagher – Crystal Palace

Conor Gallagher had a decent season on loan at West Bromwich Albion in 2020-21. He was named Young Player of the Season for the relegated side and was a bit of a bright spark on what was overall a poor team.

Since arriving at Selhurst Park, the Chelsea loanee has transformed into one of the best young players in the Premier League.

He has already doubled his goals from last season with four— including one in a 2-0 upset victory over Manchester City. According to whoscored.com, he is the fifth-highest rated player in the league this season.

He has excelled in a more advanced role this season, and his work rate in both offensive and defensive roles has made him one of the most exciting players in England’s top flight.

He received his first call up to the England national team in November and could play a role next year as the Three Lions look towards the World Cup.

Gallagher will most likely be headed back to Stamford Bridge after this season, and he has opened the door for a regular spot in the first team with his impressive performances.
