Another transfer target, another Serie A player. Skriniar checks several boxes to make him a likely January target for the North London outfit.
The 26-year-old ball-playing center back has spent two seasons under Conte at Inter Milan and is adept in the training methods and tactical demands of the Italian meaning, he could slot right into the back 3 system relatively easily mid-season compared to any other center-back transfer option.

Center back seems to be a problem area that Spurs’ have been looking to fix for a few seasons now and Conte’s decision to play Eric Dier and Ben Davies as two of his three center backs suggests that upgrades are needed.
Furthermore, Skriniar has been high up on Spurs‘ wishlist since before Conte came along making this transfer seem like a good fit on paper.
