Brentford vs Chelsea
Player to target: Romelu Lukaku

The Big Belgian is itching to score because he’s come so close to scoring but has drawn a blank in his last four league showings. The frustration has already set in but now this will be coupled with a well-deserved rest following an early return from his national team.

With Thomas Tuchel’s tight defence and Thomas Frank’s ability to soak up pressure, a tight affair could be on the cards – not like the Liverpool encounter – where we had a cagy contest with goals all over, which ended 3-3. Bad organisation that will not be the case in this one.

This adds to why Lukuka should be targeted. In a game where a target man is required and goals might be scares, he is the best pick of the lot.

  • 2 Points vs. Southampton- 0 Goals

Player to avoid: Brentford Strikers

I could be wrong or I could be right – but Chelsea are still joint with City for the least goals conceded – with only three apiece let in by the duo. Where I could be wrong, Chelsea’s Thiago Silva is said to not be available and Antonio Rudiger is doubtful due to a back injury picked up on international duty.

Nonetheless, Reece James is back, so the visitors have the resources to continue the solid defence shown since last season. This is also only for this fixture, so just benching them would be perfectly fine as well. Following the Chelsea encounter, any of the Bees forwards must be considered for your FPL squad.
