Aston Villa vs Wolves
Player to target: Matty Cash

Believe it or not, when Aston Villa entertains Wolves on Saturday, attacking fullback Cash and goalkeeper Emi Martinez are the two most in-form players with their form 7.0.

His cost of 5.1m (a price rise by 0.1m) plus the fact he has been involved in three goals in the last three games for Villa, makes him the prime target.

Fun Fact: the player to target would normally be Raul Jimenez but he needs to start scoring more consecutively for him to be the top choice again for FPL reasons.

  • 1 Point vs. Tottenham – 0 Goals

Player to avoid: Tyron Mings

Tyron Mings gets a lot of touches in the opposition box but has struggled for clean sheets and has an error or two in him. He should be avoided as a defender pick, with many others to look at ahead of having him in your FPL squad.

Leicester City vs  Manchester United
Player to target: Jamie Vardy and/or Cristiano Ronaldo

There is a big toss-up in this encounter. Why? Both clubs have significant losses to their starting XI and have been inconsistent at best. If you love yourself the underdog story, then Jamie Vardy is your pick. He is one of the two most in-form forwards meeting on Saturday at the King Power Stadium.

  • 8 Points vs. Brighton – 1 Goal

If you are in for the show and believe history will repeat itself [Leicester only has four points from the last 15 played for between them and United] then Cristiano Ronaldo is your top target.

Also, playing in Ronaldo’s favour, Vardy’s last goal against United came back in 2018 with the Englishman failing to score against Ole’s men in his last five outings.

  • 1 Point vs. Everton – 0 Goals

Player to avoid: Any defender from both teams

There are injuries all over the pitch and confidence at the back is on a low for the duo. There is a combined total of 18 goals between Leicester and United, 12 of them being leaked in by the Foxes.

Avoid any defender at all costs in this one; attacking returns might be ripe but clean sheets for either club could be distance achievement at the moment.
