Since returning to the Premier League, Ronaldo has made a statement by establishing himself as the Player of the Month for September in what was his first month back.

With Ronaldo’s surprise benching in GW7 against Everton, he will be hungry to start and score some goals this week against Leicester.

In fact, he is returning from international duty with Portugal full of confidence after scoring a hat-trick against Luxembourg; two of his goals were from the penalty spot, which could put some pressure on his teammate, Bruno Fernandes, to hand over penalty duties to him.

Also to little surprise, Ronaldo ranks number one for goal threat according to FPL’s ICT index.

Similarly to United, Leicester’s defence has been a massive let-down this season, with the Foxes failing to keep a clean sheet since GW1. They are also ranked 4th-worst in the league for goals conceded — averaging 1.7 goals conceded per game.

As a result of the poor defences of both United and Leicester, I am expecting a high-scoring game and fully expecting to see Ronaldo as one of the names on the scoresheet.
