The International break is drawing to a close and Premier League football is nearly back! And on return, I’m here to discuss this season’s surprise package, Brentford, and their chances of pulling off another Arsenal or Liverpool upshot against Chelsea.

European Champions Chelsea have been effective without being at their fluent best and are coming into this weekend’s game on the back of a hard-earned 3-1 victory against 10-men Southampton to put back-to-back 1-0 defeats behind them.

Newly promoted Brentford, on the other hand, have taken the league by storm playing a resolute 3 at the back system and are spearheaded by the impressive Ivan Toney and Bryan Mbeumo.

A mighty impressive away win against West Ham United followed a fighting come-from-behind 3-3 draw against Liverpool suggests that this Brentford side means business and will possess a stern challenge for Thomas Tuchel’s side.

But can they go ahead and upset title-chasing Chelsea? Let’s take a look.
