Premier League football makes its much-awaited return this weekend and with that, Fantasy Premier League decisions and deliberations return to the fore!

The International Break, while being possibly the slowest two weeks in the lives of football fans, allowed time for a return to fitness of some FPL favourites, notably Trent Alexander-Arnold, without throwing up too many major injuries.

It does, however, throw a spanner in the works for managers with popular South American assets like Raphinha who play their last international game close to the FPL deadline and while they might fly back in time, will be major doubts to start at the weekend.

This week, I’ll be recommending a 3-4-3 formation, captained by the unstoppable Mo Salah while Romelu Lukaku holds down the vice-captain role. With that in mind, let’s dive right in!
