#3 Adam Armstrong (Southampton) – 2.6% TSB

Armstrong is a player that has been on my watchlist for the majority of this season. He passes the eye-test whenever I see him play, and appears to be Southampton’s main attacking outlet — and they will continue to rely on him this season for goals.

Southampton’s difficult start to the season can be seen as one of the main reasons why they have struggled to score many goals — but I believe this can change starting this week — as their fixtures begin to turn for the better.

They face a Leeds side that have some major doubts to start, including Bamford, Ayling, and Raphinha. We have seen Leeds struggle this season without their key men, and it would be no surprise to see Southampton get a comfortable win at Saint Mary’s in GW8.

Another thing to consider is that Leeds rank third-worst in the league for expected goals conceded, which indicates some of their defensive vulnerabilities. Armstrong is primed to score here.
