With many FPL managers activating their wildcards this week over the October international break, I will be compiling the best full wildcard team for GW8.

Ensuring a balance between template picks and differentials is key to boost yourself up the FPL rankings — and that is a key component I will be adhering to when selecting my ideal wildcard team.

This wildcard draft will be in a 4-3-3 formation, as I believe there is great value in the Manchester City and Chelsea defence. We will also be operating with a strong bench to allow for optimal rotation over the upcoming period of fixture congestion. Let’s begin.
