#4 Michail Antonio v Brentford (H)

For the most part, Brentford’s defence has been quite impressive in their first Premier League stint, having only conceded a total of 5 goals. However, Liverpool undid the Brentford defence last weekend and exposed some of its vulnerabilities.

With the Bees’ key defender Ethan Pinnock coming off injured in the first half, it raises some concerns about whether Brentford can continue as well as they have. Generally, Brentford have not faced many threatening attacks this season – besides Liverpool’s Mo Salah and co – which they conceded 3 goals against.

I expect the attacking force of West Ham to be too good for Thomas Frank’s men to hold out when the pair meet; particularly with the game being at London Stadium. We also shouldn’t be surprised to see Antonio on the scoresheet, like he has been in 4 out of the 5 games he has played.

Antonio ranks equal second in the league for expected goals – just behind Mo Salah. He also ranks equal first in the league for big chances created. Evidently, Antonio has plenty of goal and assist potential, and can score points either way.
