Differential #3: Marc Cucurella (Brighton) – 0.6% TSB

At number 3 comes Brighton’s new signing, Marc Cucurella – owned by just 0.6% of FPL managers. Brighton’s defence has been stellar this season, having only conceded 4 goals in the matches played to date.

As a wing-back in Potter’s system, Cucurella is given the freedom to push forward and make runs like a winger. Being classified as a defender is great for his FPL appeal – considering his counterpart Solly March plays in the same position but is classified as a defender in FPL.

Given the chances he creates from left wing-back, he will likely be involved in the bonus points when Brighton keep a clean sheet – as we saw in his Premier League debut against Brentford in GW4 when he grabbed a bonus point.

Crystal Palace is no easy game for Brighton, but their defence has been strong and a clean sheet in GW6 should be no surprise. Palace also conceded 25 shots last week against Liverpool – so Cucurella should be able to create plenty of chances for his teammates to finish.
