Differential #4: Adam Armstrong (Southampton) – 3.0% TSB

Southampton have had an impressive start to the new season – and have looked much better despite the departure of Ings, Vestergaard and Bertrand. They managed to keep out Manchester City for 90 minutes in GW5, and Adam Armstrong was the key man in the Saints attack.

Armstrong managed 3 shots in the box and even won a clear penalty – which was mistakenly overturned by VAR. However this week, Southampton face a team far from the quality of Man City – a struggling Wolves team that looked extremely open in defence last week against Brentford.

If the pace of Mbeumo and Toney troubled Wolves, then there is no doubt Armstrong will be able to do some damage with his own pace.

Again, Wolves should be desperate to start converting their chances to goals – which is where Wolves have let themselves down this season. This is something Southampton and Armstrong can take advantage on the other end of the pitch, with quick counter-attacks.
