Liverpool target showing excellent Champions League form

For long now Bellingham has flirted with some of the greats from the Reds; he sees Stevie G as an idol while also praising captain Henderson when together on international duty.

The Dortmund player has always spoken highly of Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard and Manchester United legend, Wayne Rooney; expressing how these two Premier League legends were his biggest “heroes” during his childhood.

One trait we can all certainly agree that the young Birmingham City product shares with these two greats of the English game, is how mature his football game is at the tender age of 18. The other thing he closely resembles Stevie and Rooney in is, how good he is in front of goal and his ability to play the perfect pass and find his teammate.

With him loving players from rival clubs as his most prominent idols it’s fair game to all vying for his signature. But Liverpool’s last trump card could be the club captain, Henderson. The pair have had nothing but good things to say about each other.

While together on international duty, Bellingham was thankful to Henderson and always spoke of his importance to him in this short time together for the Three Lions.

In return, Henderson has also made his thoughts clear on one of England’s brightest talents, speaking of how he thinks the 18-year-old is ready to play at the highest level for club and country.

There is no denying that some of young Jude’s game is rather quite similar to that of Stevie G’s and he could really be the player to finally be the Gerrard the fans have been craving for, for so long.
