With an early Friday night kickoff this week, the Gameweek 5 FPL deadline is fast approaching. Here are my top 5 differentials – with under 10% ownership – to help you get a boost up the FPL rankings in GW5.

Differential #5: Nelson Semedo (Wolves) – 2.8% TSB

Accumulating 5 penalty area touches and missing 2 big chances last week against Watford, Semedo is primed to get an attacking return sooner or later.

In Bruno Lage’s wing-back system, Semedo has been reminding FPL managers of Matt Doherty in his days at Wolves a couple of seasons ago.

The promising thing about Wolves is their ability to defend well – as we saw last week where they limited Watford to just 2 shots inside the box all game – whilst simultaneously being so dangerous on the counter-attack.

Semedo is in the best of both worlds here, as he has the ability to accumulate both clean sheet points and attacking returns as an FPL defender.

Brentford is a promising fixture for Wolves and Semedo to do well in. The Bees have only scored 1 goal in their last 3 games, so a clean sheet does look likely for Wolves this week at the Molineux.

With Wolves finally scoring their first goal of the season in GW4, they will be high on confidence and hungry for more this week.
