It is now time to turn our attention to the group which features last season’s winners of the UEFA Champions League, Group H. Holders Chelsea, begin their road to retaining the trophy tonight and for them to achieve an unbeaten group stage as they did last season, Tuchel’s men will have to be at it from the first whistle.

The West London side will have to get past tonight’s opponent, Zenit St. Petersburg, along with Juventus and Swedish champions Malmö FF, who face up in the group’s other match-up this evening.

Although Chelsea fans will no doubt feel confident lining up against any opposition given the form their side have shown since the start of this season, these are three opponents that will prove stern tests for the Blues.

None more so than Italian giants, Juventus, who although are going through a bad patch, losing their last 2 games and still awaiting their first Serie A win this season, beat Chelsea the last time the two teams met in 2012, three goals to nil.

Let’s take a deep dive into each team, as we predict how this group will unfold
