Arsenal away

When the league releases the fixture, there’s one all Tottenham fans drill to, the North London derby. Spurs round off September with a trip to The Emirates.

In March, Arsenal won the corresponding fixture 2-1. The Gunners started the season with a 2-0 defeat to Brentford.

Matters worsened for Mikel Arteta, as Arsenal lost their next two games, without scoring a single goal. Finally, a 1-0 win against Norwich City on Matchday 4 lifted the Gunners out of the bottom three.

The next two league fixtures will test Tottenham’s resilience. Santos’ men must pick themselves up after Saturday’s woeful performance at Crystal Palace.

Three wins in four games is commendable for a newly-appointed head coach. Spurs have every chance of finishing in the top-six if they can find consistency in front of goal.
