The end of Cristiano Ronaldo and the Old Lady is approaching faster than we expected with the Portuguese superstar requesting to be sold as soon as can be; Juventus are waiting for Manchester City’s official bid, as per reports.

Man City remain the front runners to sign wantaway Cristiano Ronaldo. It is believed that the Manchester club wants to get him on a free transfer but Juventus are holding out for some cash for him instead – expecting a fee of somewhere between €25-30m.

Just two days ago, on Tuesday, The Top Flight reported the news of how quickly things have gone from a steady ship to a total meltdown at the Allianz Stadium over Cristiano Ronaldo’s future at the club.

Ronaldo, who was happy to stay in Italy until next summer, is now finalising his contract with mastermind and agent Jorge Mendes.

Other than having felt uneasy with the project at Juve even after bringing in Massimiliano Allegri to pull the strings at the club, word has it that Ronaldo and the Serie A giants have reached an impasse and there is now a “major split” between them.

"Juventus are waiting for Manchester City official bid to arrive in the next hours to reach an agreement as soon as possible. As of now, there is only Man City who is ready to buy the five-time Ballon d’Or winner. Manchester United, despite the news moving so swiftly about him being available for a low price of €25, have not challenged City for their old player.

Also, the player has already packed his stuff and will say goodbye to all his Juve teammates and wait for Mendes to finalise his transfer to another club, which is more than likely going to be City. He has, by reports of all major outlets, played his last game for the Old Lady.

Manchester City are also working on their outgoings to help cater for the transfer of Ronaldo to the Etihad and from their squad, Raheem Sterling is anticipated to move on to make space for him.

However, no player will be used in a potential swap deal anymore, as Gabriel Jesus was mentioned in the beginning stages. Pep Guardiola wants Jesus at the club, despite many rumours suggesting he is one of the Cityzen’s fringe players.
