James Maddison – Leicester City

The English attacking midfielder is the name that has been linked the most with a move to the Gunners this summer but the season has already started and it seems he could opt to stay at the Foxes.

Maddison is a player that can help the lack of creativity that Arsenal has right now; he can easily contribute with 10+ assists in a season and can help Pierre-Emerick Aubameyan with better delivery.

There have been rumors lately that the Gunners don’t want to pay the €60m that Leicester is asking for Maddison and that they have stopped negotiations with the Foxes.

The €60m that the Foxes are asking for Maddison is a good price (in my opinion) in today’s market and Arsenal should try to sign him for this price since they are in big trouble right now.

It is supposed that the Gunners would keep trying to pursue Martin Oddegard who is reportedly their first choice in the position to sign this summer.
