Mikel Arteta and his players face a challenging Premier League season where they need to prove to their fans their true potential.

It has been a few disappointing seasons for the Gooners in the past and the players need to step up their level and have a better outcome this term with no less than a top-four finish the goal set.

The Gunners are facing newcomers Brentford in their first game of the season. They are the away team and are playing against one of the newly-promoted clubs.

Surely, a difficult start since it’s an away game but if they do not come home with the three points, fans would start to ask themselves if this is going to be another season to forget.

Now, Mikel Arteta would have a difficult time selecting the starting XI since Thomas Partey, Eddie Nketiah, and Gabriel Magalhaes are all injured and already ruled out for the opening game.

Here at TTF, we’re going to discuss which Starting XI Arteta should use for the first game of the season.
