Romelu Lukaku: Home is where the heart is for the striker
Chelsea welcomes back their blue-eyed boy and the big Belgian Romelu Lukaku – well, one of their blue-eyed boys. They and the Serie A financial strugglers, Inter, have agreed to a fee reported to be £97.5m (€115m) for the once Blue striker who is now a medical away from his mega-deal.
Biggest Chelsea story
The deal expected to be signed by Lukaku is said to be a five-year plan, keeping him at Stamford Bridge until 2026. Added to the story, once the paperwork is finalised by all parties involved, he will become the player to accumulate the most money from transfers.
He has, so far from his moves around Europe, gathered a flattering £288m of transfer fees ahead of Neymar (£279m) and Cristiano Ronaldo (£207m). The Premier League outfit expects to make the announcement within the next few days.

Since the Lukaku story broke the internet, other stories have taken a backseat – most noticeably, Jules Kounde, who is a priority defensive target for the Blues.
As of now, there is still no agreement between the pair of clubs, Chelsea and Sevilla, and Kurt Zouma is still considered to be an offering to get Kounde to the Bridge.
Heading out of the club and joining teenager Tino Livramento at Southampton, but on loan, is young striker Armando Broja. He will join the Saints to gain some much-needed Premier League experience.

Chelsea has improved drastically for the new season ahead
Chelsea have improved drastically but have only made two signings for the summer. Although it’s laughable to see them re-sign one of their old players for almost triple the amount they sold him for, it is hard to undermind their status as one of the Premier League’s and European favourites now.
Chelsea, with this one mega-million signing, have taken their window from a C to an A-. If they do not acquire the services of Declan Rice, who they have been linked with for exactly two summers, they would have failed to have the perfect window.
All their major buys in pressing areas were made mostly last season. Add the inclusion of Romelu because of concern brought forth by Timo Werner’s form in front of goal, Chelsea should be competing for top honours for the next few years to come.
Throw in Jules Kounde and the Blues will become first favourites to take Manchester City’s English championship from them and their transfer window becomes an A++.
