The Premier League will restart and kick-off the new campaign Friday, 13 August 2021. Not only do we feel jubilation for the return of football but also that of full capacity crowds at all stadiums.

Most expensive signing so far – Manchester United

So far the most expensive signing of the summer, once the medical and contract has been signed, will be Jadon Sancho to Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund for a reported €85m.

Teams with the most newcomers  – Norwich City and Watford

The busiest of the lot have been two of the newly promoted sides, Norwich City and Watford. Both re-entries have made five new acquisitions apiece. Of the pair, I do believe it is the Canaries who have done the more sensible and noteworthy business.

The quietest Premier League team

Believe it or not, it is the other newly-promoted club that have been slow off the mark. They have only seen one transfer and that is one out of the club, Arthur Read to Stevenage.

Not doing any business could cast certain doom on their Premier League campaign – their first-ever Premier League run, although they did enjoy a 12-year run in the old English First Division.

Here are all the completed transfers, contract expiries, and new loan deals.
